Data Entry Assistant - State Work Study

Job Description:
This position provides administrative support to the Resource Development Department at Solid Ground. The Resource Development Data Entry Assistant (part time) is responsible for consistent, accurate, and timely data entry, following all documented policies and procedures, processing event registrations, and following up with registrants and donors when necessary, as well as gift processing and acknowledgments.

60% Enter gifts, pledges, and other donor information in to Raiser’s Edge donor database in a timely manner.
20% Support luncheon and other event(s) registration, gift entry, and acknowledgement process.
15% Create lists, queries, basic reports and exports for use throughout the agency. This includes supporting the end of year holiday card mailing.
5% Participate in program, department, and agency meetings. Attend relevant trainings as required.

Educational Benefits:
The candidate will receive 16+ hours of training on relational databases and become Blackbaud Certified, a credential that is recognized and sought after at many nonprofits. The right candidate may also have the ability to earn the higher Blackbaud Professional Certificate if their skills and time allows.

As a team member the candidate will participate in trainings, events and meetings that will give them insight into how Resource Development and nonprofit agencies function. 

Minimum Qualifications:
• Interest or experience in providing administrative support in office setting
• Interest or experience with database(s), Raiser’s Edge or other donor database exp. preferred
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills, excellent accuracy with data entry
• Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Willingness and ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds
