Clinical Psychology Graduate Research Assistant
The Research Assistantship is an appointment under the Clinical Psychology (PhD) program. Under the supervision of a faculty member conducting research, the Research Assistant is responsible for assisting the faculty member with a variety of administrative and non-administrative tasks.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Research and collect data
- Interpret, synthesize, and analyze data
- PlanĀ and modify research techniques
- Meet with faculty member on a semi-regular basis
- Attend research meetings
- Organize, maintain, and update website content
- Communicate with research participants
- Assist with administrative duties such as completing reports
- Prepare articles, reports, and presentations
- Assist in the acquisition of research materials
- Supervise any undergraduate students working on assigned research projects
- Prepare materials for submission to various agencies and organizations
