Substitute Teacher (On Call) - State Work Study

Act as a substitute for regular staff in our early childhood setting. Orientation, training and state-required background check are provided. This is an ideal entry position for a university student needing flexible part time work, and often leads to regular part time fixed hours assistant teaching opportunities. Our staff is warm and supportive and we have enjoyed employing SPU students for decades. You specify which days and hours you are available to cover absent teachers during our hours of operation (M-F 7AM-6PM). Work as part of a teaching team to carry out daily classroom routines and activities, meeting the health, safety, and developmental needs of children in various classrooms for infants, waddlers, toddlers, twos, threes, and prekindergarten children.
