Faith & Co. Web and Media Assistant
The Center for Faithful Business is looking for a student worker to provide web and media assistance to the Faith & Co. project. Faith & Co. is a series of films, online courses, and study materials designed to help Christians integrate their faith with their work in the field of business. We need a student worker to assist with the following:
- adding Faith & Co. material to YouTube and Vimeo (uploads, thumbnails, captions)
- creating links to Faith & Co. material on the Faith & Co. website; adding tags and transcripts
- adding Guided Reflections to the Faith & Co. website
- file management on the Faith & Co. server (adding and cataloging files)
- other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristics:
- Highly detail-oriented
- Self-motivated
- Able to learn new technology quickly (The position requires use of YouTube, Vimeo, WordPress, Rev.com, Excel, photo editing software, and the Faith & Co. server. Prior knowledge of these or similar technologies is helpful, but not required. Ability to learn these quickly is essential.)
- Ability to sit and to use a computer for an extended period of time
This job will be done in the Center for Faithful Business (located in the Center House on SPU's campus).
The amount of work will vary from week to week depending on when films and other materials are ready to post. Days and times of work TBD.
