The Center for Learning is hiring a PSY/SOC/CRIM 2360 Peer Tutor for January-June 2021. This tutor would work with students taking Intro to Stats for Social and Behavioral Sciences. For more details about the CFL Zoom Tutoring program go to www.spu.edu/cfltutoring.

Peer tutors host a study space (via Zoom for now but in person when health advisories warrant) and assist students individually and in small groups who drop in to ask questions, do homework, and study for exams for PSY/SOC/CRIM 2360. The tutor will work 2-4 hours per week.

A PSY/SOC/CRIM 2360 Peer Tutor must have completed the course. In addition, the tutor must be able to communicate effectively, have a faculty recommendation affirming a strong grasp of related academic subject matter, exhibit insight into effective strategies used by peer educators, and hold an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. Applicants who are chosen to move forward will be contacted via email with a faculty reference form and interview times (using Zoom).
