Social Media Intern - State Work Study

The Magnolia Chamber of Commerce is looking for a qualified digital media intern to help guide and implement our digital marketing efforts. As the social media intern, you will be responsible for helping further develop our digital marketing efforts. The internship provides a great interning opportunity to assist the Chamber in using the latest digital marketing technologies and methods. 

 

·       Assist in designing digital media campaigns to advance the Chamber’s marketing efforts

·       Coordinate and help manage the creation of digital content. 

·       Further establish our brand presence with the business members and the community at large

·       Assist in managing the Chamber’s social media channels (Facebook and Instagram)

·       Liaise with the Executive Director, other interns, and the events and communications committees in developing effective digital media campaigns to achieve goals and desired outcomes

·       Suggest strategies and methods for improvement

·       Stay up to date with digital media technologies and latest trends

 

·       Experience with web design and content management

·       Experience with social media platforms

·       Sense of ownership and pride in your performance

·       Energetic and creative
