Introduction to Mechatronics and 3D Printing Summer Camp Counselor
SPU’s Introduction to Mechatronics and 3D Printing for Beginners is a one-week summer camp designed for ninth–12th graders (as of autumn 2020) interested in learning mechatronics system and 3D printing technique. No 3D printing experience necessary.
This opportunity consists of teaching campers (high school students) how to assemble and use a 3D printer
This camp has the following activities:
- Assembly and calibration of a 3D printer
- Create a 3D printed project
- Present the project to other peers
The candidates need to:
- Have a good understanding of 3D printing techniques
- Know how to assemble and operate 3D printers
- Be willing to work with high school students
- Be patient and know how to troubleshoot 3D printers’ problems
The selected students to lead this camp will need to learn how to assembly an Anet A8 3D printer under the mentoring of Dr. Nguyen.
