Communications Coordinator - State Work Study

This position will act as a communications conduit between the Chamber of Commerce, its members and the greater Magnolia community. Primary duties will include maintaining an annual marketing calendar; growing an engaged social media following and network of local media contacts; event marketing; social media posting & content; social media calendar maintenance; blog and influencer outreach; pitch local news and media outlet outreach; content planning & maintenance; organizing quarterly photo shoots to build social media content; using online tools to measure and analyze social media marketing; maintain a clear and consistent messaging across all platforms; maintain an accurate and updated community event calendar; additional assistance as needed.
