Stabilization Services Assistant - Federal Work Study

This is a federal work study job. Stabilization Services consists of several housing-related programs targeted to clients who are homeless or imminently as risk of homelessness. The Stabilization Services Assistant will provide administrative support across all programs throughout the Solid Ground Stabilization Services department. Duties will include: data entry to database, retrieve voice mails, organizing client files, prepare and organize workshop materials, prepare materials for staff meetings, Assist front desk staff with answering calls, providing customer service to walk in guests, etc. 

75% Data entry, maintaining database and program files
20% Other projects as needed
5% Participate in program, department and agency meetings. 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
• Interest, experience and willingness to provide administrative support in an office setting
• Interest or experience with database(s)
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills, excellent accuracy with data entry
• Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience in customer service, answering phones, transferring calls etc.
• Willingness and ability to work with people from a variety of racial, cultural and economic
