Center for Learning Office Assistant

Represent the Center for Learning and Disability Support Services with excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professional and personable qualities. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling exams, filing, copying, running errands, and other duties as assigned by the professional staff. Previous office experience is preferred, but not required. Work with a wide variety of community members: students, staff, faculty, and campus guests.

·       Engage effectively with the public and help answer questions about campus resources
·       Maintain confidentiality of students files and sensitive information
·       Able to problem solve and us good judgement
·       Assist with test accommodations (testing scribe or reader) for DSS students
·       Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Word, and Outlook) 
·       Students with 2.5 or higher GPA preferred


Job Availability
Entire academic year
Hours would be approximately 7 hours per week, with increased hours during finals week.

Work Hours 
Monday-Friday: mid-day shifts between the hours of 11:00am-1:30pm
Closing shifts: 2:00pm-5:15pm

Continued Employment
Employment would continue in subsequent terms depending on hours of availability and ability to meet job requirements.
