Marketing and Promotions Graphic Designer

Summary:
Reporting directly to the Fan Engagement and Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator responsibilities include producing compelling graphic solutions for communication, development, and marketing objectives for digital and print; ensure compliance with University and Athletics brand standards, assist in establishing the creative direction for campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Support of department's social media efforts by assisting in the design of infographics, marketing materials, online advertising, and other graphic needs
-Create graphics template for all campus weekly Falcon Athletics Email
-Creation of Falcons Athletics Calendar
-Creation of promotional materials for Falcon’s Athletic events as assigned
-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
-Design sales, fundraising, and marketing campaigns in close coordination with marketing
Minimum Qualifications:
-Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe creative suite, or similar graphics software
-Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast paced environment
-Ability to work non-traditional hours
-1-2 years graphic design experience in event based environment
Preferred Qualifications:
-Basic knowledge of SPU sports – Basketball, Soccer, Gymnastics, Rowing, Track and Field, Cross-Country
-Familiarity with college athletics
-Familiarity with Seattle Pacific University
