Temporary Customer Service Representative #18367

Puget Sound Energy’s Metering Network Department is looking for Temporary Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our team in Kent and Tacoma! This position is responsible for processing service orders, responding to consumer inquiries via phone, e-mail and written correspondence. There will be opportunities to respond to inquiries including service emergencies or outages. There will be additional responsibilities including updating customer information, compiling reports and performing other office and clerical tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School diploma or GED

· Successful completion of six to ten (6-10) credits of business school or college studies in accounting, communication skills, drafting or social sciences or its equivalent in experience and/or education

· Two years customer service skills preferably in a call center environment

· Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Successful completion of courses in basic PC, electricity and natural gas

· Ability to multi-task

· Ability to work well independently

· SAP experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

· These are IBEW union represented positions with a starting wage of $19.61 per hour.

· A successful candidate will become a member of the IBEW.

· This is a temporary position with no benefits.

· This position is located in our South King County Office in Kent or our Tacoma Office, depending on the candidate and departmental need.
