Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant

The Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant contributes to the spiritual formation of undergraduate students at Seattle Pacific through thoughtful participation on the CM team, with special emphasis on coordinating communications, providing logistical support, and implementing sustainable systems for the programs and staff of Campus Ministries. We are currently hiring for the 2018-19 academic year, to begin work during the week of September 4. On average, the CM Grad Assistant will work 20 hrs/week. Job Duties:

1) Provide administrative and logistical support for ongoing CM ministries such as Chapel/Gather, Group, Prayer & Communion, Sharpen, and SMCs. Includes assistance in publicity, collecting and maintaining ministry benchmarks for quarterly reporting, managing volunteers for special events, obtaining supplies, managing distribution lists and facility/network permissions, and other ongoing needs.

a. For Chapel, this will more specifically include A/V oversight, including weekly production of    slides through ProPresenter, and select details related to speaker logistics, to be worked out in conjunction with Associate Director and Minister of Worship and Production.

2) Oversee CM communications, including website, print pieces, and social media.

3) Coordinate CM financial paperwork, including PCard Reclass forms, RFPs, budget transfers, etc.

4) Coordinate logistics for occasional CM ministries and events, including projects related to the church calendar, special worship services (Ash Wednesday, Good Friday), and other spiritual formation initiatives.

5) Collaborate with Associate Director for the purpose of creating, designing, and implementing sustainable systems for the enhancement of Campus Ministries programs and events.

6) Work with CM staff to plan, coordinate and participate in ministry programs which encourage students to build a maturing, personal faith.

7) Other duties as assigned or per interest in ministry. We want to put your gifts and passions to work!
