The Center for Learning is hiring Chemistry (CHM) Peer Tutors for the 2018-19 academic year.

A CHM Study Tables Peer Tutor will host a study space and assist students individually and in small groups who drop in to ask questions, do homework, and study for exams for CHM 1100, 1110, 1211, 1212, 1213, 1310, 1330 and 1360. The tutor will work 4-8 hours per week during each quarter (specific times depending on tutor availability and program needs).

A CHM Study Tables Peer Tutor must have completed CHM 1211-1213 and CHM 3371-3373 courses. In addition, the tutor must be able to communicate effectively, have a CHM faculty recommendation affirming strong grasp of related academic subject matter, exhibit insight into effective strategies used by peer educators, and hold an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
