Anatomy and Physiology Study Tables Peer Tutor

The Center for Learning is hiring Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) Peer Tutors for the 2018-19 academic year.

An A&P Study Tables Peer Tutor will host a study space and assist students individually and in small groups who drop in to ask questions, do homework, and study for exams for BIO 2129 and 2130. The tutor will work 4-6 hours per week during each quarter (specific times depending on tutor availability and program needs).

An A&P Study Tables Peer Tutor must have completed BIO 2129 and 2130 courses. In addition, the tutor must be able to communicate effectively, have a BIO faculty recommendation affirming strong grasp of related academic subject matter, exhibit insight into effective strategies used by peer educators, and hold an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Applications are due by 5 pm on Friday, 4/27/18. Applicants who are chosen to move forward will be contacted via email with faculty reference form and interview times.
