Support Staff/Teaching Assistant- State Work Study

Beginnings School on Queen Anne is looking for caring individuals with strong leadership skills and a professional attitude to work part time in our early learning classrooms. Candidates that have experience in a early childhood classroom setting are encouraged to apply.

-Can assist in implementing an emergent curriculum that provides multiple opportunities for children to represent, revisit, and extend the focus of their learning

-Demonstrate genuine interest in the diverse lives of children and their families

-Are professional, patient and possess a child-centered philosophy for how children learn and grow

-Have a deep respect for children's capacity to learn, know and think critically

Beginnings Queen Anne's program is designed with developmental goals in mind: To enhance each child's self-image, encourage emotional and physical development and stimulate social growth and awareness.We are located on Queen Anne hill. We are part of the Beginnings Schools Cooperative established in 1978. Beginnings School is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
